Maria Del Carmen Rosales

Maria Del Carmen Rosales is a Bilingual Research Specialist at the Recordemos Juntos Lab. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in health promotion and health equity at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also received certificates in Chicane and Latine studies and gender and women studies. During her time as an undergraduate student, she worked at various research labs, including here with Dr. Mora Pinzon. 

She loves being in the Recodando Juntos lab because of the team’s unwavering commitment to the community. The team has provided Maria with a sense of confidence and has given her countless opportunities to grow as a researcher. Her future goals are to return to school to get her master’s in public health and do work surrounding childhood/family nutrition in the community.
