Molly Minden

Molly Minden is the Bilingual Research Coordinator for Dr. Mora Pinzon’s Alzheimer’s Lab. She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023, with a research focus on community organization in the aftermath of the Guatemalan Civil War.

Earlier work in crisis case management and legal services stirred Molly’s curiosity about what motivates and matters most to people. She has worked on diverse research projects, most recently on one addressing nutrition access among Latinx agricultural workers, and another on the power of sharing community stories in preventing violence. She has also designed and taught classes at UW-Madison about Human Rights, Politics Across Latin America, and International Studies. Both her teaching and research experience have given her great appreciation for people who are willing to share their experiences to improve the lives of others.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys bike adventures, community art projects, poetry and spending time with animals, especially cats.
